Overview:

The Get Out! Hangboard is a resin rock climbing pull-up board; what I love most about it is how versatile it is to hang anywhere. Unlike most hangboards that have a closed loop, these grips are adjustable, making setup much simpler and cutting down on extra gear.

The climbing grips themselves feel solid; the edges are good-sized and ergonomic, making them comfortable to hold during warm-ups or serious sessions. They’re light too: about 2 pounds / 0.9 kg each, 4 pounds / 1.8 kg together, so carrying them around or setting them up anywhere is no problem.

One of the coolest features is the 360-degree rotation: unlike a flat hangboard, these grips can turn to relieve shoulder and joint pressure, allowing you to train more naturally and reduce strain.

Grip workouts on these boards target upper body strength and core; I can feel my support grip and open-hand strength improving, and finger tendon endurance benefits as well. It’s simple but effective: used by beginners and pros alike, it really never goes out of style.

You can mount it with a 0.25-inch (6.35 mm) screw or hang it using the included 19-inch (48.3 cm) rope: the flexibility makes it easy to integrate into almost any setup, whether indoors or outdoors.

  • Can Be Used Indoors & Outdoors: When it’s raining outside, you can hang these in your apartment. If it’s sunny outside, you can choose to hang them from a tree to keep training.
  • Brilliant for Static Grip Strength: Hands-down one of the best grip tools you can get to build static support grip. Climbers use a tool to build open-hand strength.
  • Improve Hand Endurance: Outstanding tool to strengthen tendons in your hand, helping you to cling onto objects longer. Develops formidable finger & forearm strength
  • Train Each Digit Individually: Ideal to eliminate weaknesses in your hands, train each finger individually to improve forearm strength
  • Can Be Used For Rehab: Training digits individually allows you to target & isolate muscles separately, working weak points individually to get rid of pain, possible muscle imbalances that cause symptoms & underlying cause

Cons:

  • Not The Best For Beginners: Needs some basic grip strength to be used effectively, depending on the individual, it might be too much to handle for complete beginners
  • Risk for Injury: If hung up & not mounted with screws, climbing grips will rotate, making exercises quite a bit more difficult & unstable
  • Limited Exercises: No mystery or many variations in exercises. Hangboard’s strength is that it’s very straightforward in nature, routine, you hang from it & that’s it.

Final Verdict: Is Get Out! Hangboard, Climbing Fingerboard Worth it?

Ergonomic, Compact, Effective

The Get Out! Hangboard is one of the most versatile climbing training tools I’ve tried; it’s portable, lightweight, and easy to set up anywhere. I love that it can rotate 360 degrees: it really helps reduce stress on my shoulders and joints while keeping my finger and grip training challenging.

The edges are solid and ergonomic, making every hang feel secure and controlled. It’s a simple setup, yet it delivers a ton of training value for grip strength, finger endurance, and upper-body conditioning.

My only caution: the included ropes are fine for light setups, but I prefer using my own trusted rope for heavier loads to feel completely safe. That aside, these grips are perfect for indoor training or attaching to a tree branch outdoors; they replicate the challenges of a rock wall without taking up much space.

Overall: this hangboard is a fantastic addition to any climber’s routine, from beginners to advanced, and I find myself reaching for it before every climbing session. It’s compact, effective, and built to last.
