John Brookfield is internationally known in the area of strength and fitness. He is a multiple world record holder, author & creator of the famous Battling Ropes System.

John is over 50 years old. He has tremendously strong arms. Here is a short list of a few of John Brookfield’s mind-bogglingly crazy feats of strength:


  • #1 – John pulled a truck weighing 24,000 pounds a distance of one full mile without any pulling ropes mile in 1 h & 23 min.
  • #2 – John rolled up one-quarter mile of steel (62 twenty-foot steel bars, 9/16″ in diameter) nonstop in 59 minutes.
  • #3 – John Brookfield & Jon Bruney pulled a 32,000 pounds semi-truck a distance of one full mile in 1 hour & 36 minutes.
  • #4 – John tore 100 decks of plastic-coated poker cards in half in 2 minutes & 15 seconds.
  • #5 – John tore 60 decks of plastic-coated poker cards in half in 1 minute exactly.
  • #6 – John performed 1,200 kettlebell snatches in one hour exactly using a 53-pound kettlebell.
  • #7 – John performed 302 kettlebell snatches in ten minutes using a 53-pound kettlebell.
  • #8 – John bent 520 nails into a U-shape in one hour and forty-two minutes. The nails were 60-penny nails.
